Organization Description
Since 1966, the Salesian Family Youth Center of Los Angeles – located within walking distance of more than 13,000 elementary, middle and high school students – has served the Boyle Heights by providing positive after-school activities and low-cost alternative programs for thousands of at-risk and economically disadvantaged youth between the ages of 6 and 18.
Board Member Position Description
We are looking for caring adults who would like to be part of our Board of Directors, who have a passion for our mission to support underprivileged children and young people in Boyle Heights! Our board members must be team players, who are willing to lead, to share their expertise, and to invest their time to support our organization. We are searching for persons who share our concern for the safety and development of our young people. The future of our communities depends on the personal, spiritual, and academic growth of our youth
