To empower and support high school-age Latinas in the Greater Washington, D.C. and the Greater Sacramento, CA area as they develop the skills necessary to succeed in adulthood through collaborative mentorship and programming.
Advancing Latinas into Leadership Mentoring Program (ALLMP) is a non-profit designed to help young high school Latinas prepare for their adulthood upon graduation through mentorship.
ALL mentors are professional Latinas who work for the government, private sector, or non-profit who want to make a difference in a young Latina's life. Our mission is to empower the next generation of Latinas and prepare them for their lives after high school by providing them the tools and resources they need to succeed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend monthly board meetings
Attend meetings with grant writers and business consultants
Active fundraising and hosting of fundraiser events
Organize small-donor contribution emails
Make voting decisions on programs and management
Review and update by-laws and board of directors agreement
Participate in mentor-mentee matching process
Shadow a mentoring session to provide feedback on the board on how to improve programming.
Make decisions on proposals provided by the advisory council
Make an annual financial contribution of personal significance to the organization to support business operations, lunch for student workshops, and scholarship expenses.
Other duties will come up during the board meetings. Please be open to non-profit development.

We require our board of directors to donate or raise $100 within the school year. This is subject to change upon the board approval.
